Teaching a Privacy CLE on Tech and Ethics
On April 5th 2019, I was honored to teach a CLE at Dade County's Annual Bench & Bar alongside Eric Boos of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, Kelly Melchiondo of Stearns Weaver Miller and Ashley Juchawski Rich of DLA Piper (pictured, from left to right).
Our panel, Tech Tips for Law Firm Data Security and Client Privacy, provided 1 of 3 CLE credits in technology now required by The Florida Bar, in each reporting cycle.
We covered professional responsibility requirements, common cybersecurity threat and attack strategies law firms face, cybersecurity insurance, privacy laws, data breach response plans, and answered privacy and cybersecurity related questions posed by attending judges and lawyers.
